With WiiM multi-room music, you can stream audio from various audio sources to multiple rooms in your home. This tutorial will guide you on how stream music from your CD player, turntable, or PC throughout your home using WiiM Multi-Room Music.

Before You Begin


  • Install WiiM Home app on a mobile device.

  • Prepare multiple WiiM devices and set them up properly.

  • Make sure to connect the mobile device and all the WiiM devices to the same Wi-Fi network.

Step-by-Step Instructions


1. Connect Your CD Player, Turntable, or PC to a WiiM Device


Firstly, connect your CD player, turntable, or PC to a WiiM device that supports the appropriate input:

  • For CD Player: Typically connect it to the WiiM device via the Line In or Optical In port.

  • For Turntable: If your turntable has a built-in preamp, connect it to the WiiM device via the Line In port. Alternatively, if you have a WiiM Ultra, you can connect the turntable to the WiiM Ultra via the Phono In port. For detailed instructions, refer to How to Connect a Turntable with Your WiiM Ultra.

  • For PC: Connect it to the WiiM device via the Line In or Optical In port.


2. Select the Source Input


In the WiiM Home app, select the correct source input for the WiiM device connected to your CD player, turntable, or PC, based on the interface used.


3. Create a WiiM Multi-Room Group


  1. Open the WiiM Home app on the mobile device.

  2. Navigate to the Devices tab.

  3. Locate the WiiM device connected to your CD player, turntable or PC, and tap the Chain Link iconin the top-right corner.

  4. Select the other WiiM devices to include, then tap Done.

  5. The newly created WiiM multi-room group will now appear in the Devices tab.


4. Play Multi-Room Music and Control Playback


Once the WiiM multi-room group is successfully created, start playing music on your CD player, turntable, or PC. The music will automatically play in sync across all WiiM devices in the group.


During playback, you can adjust the volume for the entire group or for individual devices.
