This tutorial provides steps to enhance the audio quality of your WiiM device for an immersive listening experience.
1. Use High-Quality Source
High-Resolution Audio Files: Play high-resolution audio files, such as FLAC, WAV, or other lossless formats, for the best sound quality.
Streaming Services: If you have subscribed to popular music streaming services such as TIDAL, Amazon Music, or Qobuz, choose the maximum streaming quality in the WiiM Home app to ensure the highest-quality streaming experience.
2. SPDIF Optical and Coaxial Outputs for Optimal Resolution
WiiM devices come with SPDIF Optical and Coaxial outputs designed for transmitting high-quality audio signals. The Optical output uses light to carry the signal, while the Coaxial output relies on electrical signals. Both outputs support high-resolution audio formats, preserving the original audio fidelity.
To achieve optimal sound quality, set the output resolution to the highest level your external audio equipment can support. For example, if your equipment supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz, adjust the outputs to match this specification.
3. Place Speakers and Subwoofer Properly
Speaker Placement: Position speakers at ear level and avoid placing them too close to walls or corners to minimize reflections and bass build-up.

4. RoomFit™ Room Correction
Use WiiM's room correction feature to adjust for room acoustics and speaker placement. This will help eliminate undesirable peaks and dips in frequency response, making the sound more balanced.

5. Equalizer (EQ)
WiiM devices offer powerful EQ features to enhance your audio experience. You can choose from 24 preset EQ settings, adjust with a 10-band graphic EQ, or dive deeper with a 10-band parametric EQ for precise customization—all accessible within the WiiM Home App.
Each input source, including HDMI, Optical, Line-In, Bluetooth, and Network, can have its own independent EQ profile, allowing you to tailor sound for each source and adapt your audio settings to different rooms or listening environments.
6. Optimize Volume Levels
Replay Gain: Enable Replay Gain in the WiiM Home App (coming soon for TIDAL and Qobuz) to maintain consistent volume levels across different tracks.

7. Ensure Proper Synchronization
