The Preset feature allows you to save your favorite music (e.g., tracks, albums, playlists, and radio stations), input sources, and even playback configurations for quick and easy access. The Preset feature supports saving music from streaming services, USB disks and media servers as presets. This tutorial will guide you through using the Preset feature. 


How to Set Up Presets


Scenario 1: Save Current Playback as a Preset in WiiM Home App


This option will add the current playback (a track or radio station) to the presets.


If your WiiM device is playing audio from an external source, you can also save it as a preset using this option.


  1. Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the Now Playing page.
     
  3. Tap the three-dot option (...) and then select Preset.
     
  4. Tap on an empty slot to save it as a preset, or tap on an existing preset to replace it.


Scenario 2: Save a Radio Station from a Music Service as a Preset


In addition to saving the currently playing radio station as a preset from Now Playing, you can also browse a radio service to find your favorite stations and save them as presets.


  1. Open the WiiM Home  app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the  Browse tab and select a radio service in the Music Services section.

  3. Find your favorite radio station.
  4. Tap three-dot option (...) and select Add to Preset.


Scenario 3: Save an Album or Playlist from a Music Service, USB Disk, or Media Server as a Preset


  1. Open the WiiM Home  app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the  Browse tab.

  3. Open a music service in the Music Services section, or access a USB disk or media server from Home Music Share in the My Library section.
  4. Open your favorite album or playlist and then tap theicon to save it as a preset.


Scenario 4: Save an Input Source as a Preset


When you are play music from an input source other than Wi-Fi, you can to save the current input source as a preset for quick access next time.


  1. Go to the Now Playing screen.

  2. Tap the three-dot option (...) and then select Preset.

  3. Tap on an empty slot to save it as a preset, or tap on an existing preset to replace it.


Sceanrio 5: Save Playback Configurations as a Preset


You can save your preferred playback configurations as a preset. While playing music, simply select this preset to instantly apply the saved settings. 


  1. Open the preset list in the WiiM Home app.
     
  2. Select an empty slot and tap the three-dot option (...) next to it.

  3. Adjust playback configurations according to your preference. For details about these configurations, see How to Use Smart Preset in the WiiM Home App.

  4. Once finished, tap Save in the top-right corner to save configurations.

How to Access Presets


You can quickly access your presets using any of the options below:


Option 1: Access Presets from the Favorites Tab in WiiM Home App


  1. Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the Favorites tab, where you'll find your presets listed in the Presets section.
     
  3. Tap See  All next to the Presets section to see all your presets.
     
  4. Tap on a preset to start playing it.  


Option 2: Access Presets from Device Settings in WiiM Home App


  1. Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.

  2. Go to the Devices tab, and tap the Device Settings iconof your WiiM device.

  3. Select Presets to display all your presets.
     
  4. Tap on a preset to start playing it. 


Option 3: Access Presets Using WiiM Voice Remote


Buttons 1-4 on the WiiM Voice Remote are assigned to your first four presets. Simply press a number button to play the corresponding preset. For detailed instructions, see How to Set Up Your WiiM Voice Remote.


Option 4: Access Presets Using Preset Button (Only for WiiM Pro/WiiM Pro Plus)


If you're using the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus, simply press the Preset buttonon the front panel to start playing your presets. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through all your saved presets.


Option 5: Access Presets Using WiiM Device's Screen


If you're using the WiiM Ultra, WiiM Amp Ultra, or WiiM Sound, simply tap the Presets option on its built-in screen to quickly access your presets.


How to Manage Presets
