Setting Up Your WiiM Device with Google Assistant


Step 1: Enable Google Cast on Your WiiM Device Using the WiiM Home App


  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Go to the Browse tap and tab Google Cast under the Voice And Streaming section.

  3. Tap Enable to turn on Google Cast audio on your WiiM device.


Step 2: Add Your WiiM Device to A Room in the Google Home App


  1. Open the Google Home app.

  2. Go to the Devices tab and select your device under the Local devices section.

  3. Tab Add to a room to start adding your device to a room.

  4. Select an existing room or create a new room for your WiiM device, and then tap Next.

  5. Once setup is complete, your WiiM device will appear in the selected room.
