WiiM Devices Compatible with Google Assistant

All WiiM devices are compatible with Google Assistant, except WiiM Mini, WiiM Sub Pro, and WiiM Vibelink Amp.

Before You Begin

Make sure your WiiM device is added to the Google Home app. For detailed instructions, see How to Add a WiiM Device to a Room in the Google Home App.

Using Google Assistant to Control Your WiiM Device

Once your WiiM device is added to the Google Home app, you can control playback using standard voice commands.

Use the examples below to get started.

Playing Content

  • Movies and TV Shows: "Hey Google, play [show/movie name] on [Google Cast device name]."
  • Music: "Hey Google, play [artist/album/song] on [Google Cast device name]."
  • YouTube: "Hey Google, play [video name] on YouTube on [Google Cast device name]."

Controlling Playback

  • Play/Pause: "Hey Google, pause on [Google Cast device name]."
  • Stop: "Hey Google, stop on [Google Cast device name]."
  • Rewind/Fast Forward: "Hey Google, rewind 30 seconds on [Google Cast device name]."

Volume Control

  • "Hey Google, turn up the volume on [Google Cast device name]."
  • "Hey Google, set the volume to 5 on [Google Cast device name]."

Other Commands
