Overview

WiiM Ultra, WiiM Amp Pro, and WiiM Amp Ultra support Dolby Digital Audio, making them ideal as the hub device for your Home Theater setup. Connect the hub device to your TV via HDMI ARC or Optical connection, and pair it with other WiiM devices to enjoy an immersive and cinematic experience.

HDMI ARC  is preferred since you can use your TV remote to control the volume.
These hub devices now feature the Center setting, making it easier to add the Center speaker to a Home Theater setup.

Compatible Center Speaker

Currently, one WiiM Sound or WiiM Sound Lite can be used as the Center speaker.

In a future update, a WiiM streamer or streaming amplifier can also be used as Center:
  • For a WiiM streamer: Via Mono output.
  • For a WiiM streaming amplifier: By connecting to a single set of speaker terminals.

Center Speaker Setup

  1. Open the WiiM Home app.
  2. Go to Devices > your hub device’s Device Settings.
  3. Tap Center in the Home Theater section.
  4.  Select your WiiM device as the Center speaker.

    Tap the volume icon next to the Center speaker to confirm you've selected the correct speaker.

  5. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup. 


Once the Center speaker is added, the Home Theater system is enabled automatically. Play Dolby Digital content on the TV and enjoy an immersive audio experience.

Further Home Theater Setup

In addition to the Center speaker, you can expand your Home Theater system by adding surround speakers for a more immersive experience.
