RoomFit™ optimizes your WiiM Sound speaker to deliver the best audio performance for your room. It works by measuring how sound interacts with your space—capturing reflections, absorption, and the room’s overall acoustic behavior. Based on these measurements, RoomFit™ automatically fine-tunes the speaker’s frequency response and output. This results in clearer vocals, tighter bass, and a more balanced, natural listening experience. For detailes, see Optimizing Your Audio Experience: A Comprehensive Guide to RoomFit™ Room Correction.

RoomFit™ currently supports only stereo calibration for WiiM Sound and does not provide per-channel calibration.

If your WiiM Sound is paired with a WiiM Sub Pro, RoomFit™ does not support calibrating them together.

  • ALWAYS point the microphone towards the speaker you are currently measuring.

Step-by-Step Guide to Room Correction

  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Navigate to the Devices tab and tap the Device Settingsicon
    for your WiiM Sound.

  3. Select RoomFit™.

  4. Tap Next to start the RoomFit™ process.

  5. Tap Play Sound to perform an audio check.

  6. Tap Start Tuning to begin the acoustic measurement, then evaluate the results.

You can also review the RoomFit™ result from the four curves below:

      - Yellow curve (Target): The desired frequency response that RoomFit™ aims to achieve.
      - Gray curve (Raw): The measured frequency response of your speakers and room before RoomFit™.
      - Pink curve (Equalization): The EQ adjustments that RoomFit™ makes to correct the variations.
      - Cyan curve (Actual): The actual frequency response after RoomFit™ correction is applied.

  7. When the Final Assessment page appears, review the actual RoomFit™ result from the curves below:

      - Yellow curve (Target): The desired frequency response that RoomFit™ aims to achieve.

      - Gray curve (Raw): The measured frequency response of your speakers and room before RoomFit™.
      - Cyan curve (Actual): The actual frequency response after RoomFit™ correction is applied.

If the cyan curve closely matches the yellow curve within the adjustable range, the RoomFit™ result is effective and tap Apply Correction to proceed. If there are large differences, tap Adjust Again to re-run RoomFit™.

  8. Tap Save Profile to save the RoomFit™ results as a custom profile. Alternatively, tap Skip to save tinto the Auto profile.

Once the RoomFit™ process is completed, the saved profile will be automatically applied to all input sources, so you do not need to perform it separately for each one.
