When logging into the YouTube Music service in the WiiM Home app, you may encounter issues that prevent you from accessing YouTube Music content. This guide covers the two most common issues and how to resolve them. 

Issue 1: No Permission to Access YouTube Music Content

Issue Description

You log in with your YouTube Music Premium account, but the WiiM Home app shows an error message indicating it has no permission to access your YouTube Music content.

This occurs because you did not grant the WiiM Home app permission to access your YouTube Music data.

Solution

Please sign in again to grant access. Once completed, your YouTube Music content will be displayed.

Issue 2: No YouTube Music Premium Subscription

Issue Description

After logging in, you see an error message indicating that you need to upgrade your YouTube Music account.

This occurs because YouTube Music in the WiiM Home app requires an active YouTube Music Premium subscription. 

Solution

Upgrade your YouTube Music account to YouTube Music Premium and log in again.
