To stream music via Bluetooth from your mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet) to your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus, you need to pair your mobile device with the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus first. This tutorial will guide you through the steps for Bluetooth pairing.

Initial Bluetooth Pairing

Step 1: Initiate Bluetooth Pairing Mode on WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus

Choose the most convenient method for you:

  • Option 1: Press and hold the Volume + and Volume - buttons on the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus simultaneously for 2 seconds.
  • Option 2: Switch to Bluetooth input using the WiiM Home app or the WiiM Voice Remote.
  • Option 3: Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the WiiM Voice Remote for 3 seconds.
    Note: Before using the remote, make sure it is paired with your WiiM device. The WiiM Pro does not include a remote; it must be purchased separately.

Step 2: Complete Pairing on Your Mobile Device

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your mobile device and turn on Bluetooth. Your mobile device will search for available Bluetooth devices.
  2. Tap your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus in the available devices list to pair.
  3. Once paired, the LED indicator on your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus will turn solid green.

Bluetooth Re-pairing with a New Mobile Device

If you want to pair your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus with a new mobile device, follow these steps:

  1. Put the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus into pairing mode using one of the options below:
    • Option 1: Press and hold the Volume + and Volume - buttons on the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus simultaneously for 2 seconds.
    • Option 2: Turn off Bluetooth on the previously paired mobile device, then switch the WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus to Bluetooth input using the WiiM Home app or the WiiM Voice Remote.

    • Option 4: Press and hold the Play/Pause button on your paired WiiM Voice Remote for 3 seconds.
  2. Complete pairing on your new mobile device as described in Step 2: Complete Pairing on Your Mobile Device.

Bluetooth Connection Management

Once your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus is paired with a mobile device, you can disconnect or reconnect using any of these methods:

  • Option 1: Use the Enter Pairing Mode option in the WiiM Home app. For details, see Use "Enter Pairing Mode" to Quickly Pair a New Bluetooth Device.
  • Option 2: Switch the input on your WiiM Pro or WiiM Pro Plus via the WiiM Home app or the Input Selection button on the WiiM Voice Remote:
    • Switching to an input other than Bluetooth or Wi-Fi will disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
    • Switching the input back to Bluetooth will automatically try to connect with the paired mobile device.
  • Option 3: Disconnect or reconnect from the mobile device's Bluetooth settings.
