If your WiiM device doesn’t appear on Spotify Connect, follow the below troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.


Troubleshooting Steps


1. Enable Local Network Access


If you see the following message on the Spotify screen, tap Go to Settings, and then enable the Local Network permission for the Spotify app.


2. Restart Devices


Unplug your WiiM device, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in.


3. Check Network Connection


Ensure both your WiiM device and mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.


4. Update Spotify App


Ensure the Spotify app is up to date.  It's better to reinstall the app.


5. Update WiiM Firmware


Open the WiiM Home app and check for firmware updates.


6. Test Another Network


If the above steps don’t help, try switching to another Wi-Fi network to see if the issue persists.
