Qobuz is a premium music streaming service that offers a vast library of songs, albums, and playlists—including high-resolution audio content. With Qobuz Connect, you can easily stream music directly from the Qobuz app to compatible devices and control playback seamlessly within the app.


This tutorial will guide you on how to stream music to your WiiM device using Qobuz Connect for a smooth and high-quality listening experience. 


Supported WiiM Devices


The following WiiM models are compatible with Qobuz Connect:

  • WiiM Pro
  • WiiM Pro Plus
  • WiiM Amp
  • WiiM Amp Pro
  • WiiM Ultra


WiiM Mini does not support Qobuz Connect.

Stream Music to a WiiM Device via Qobuz Connect


Before You Begin


  • Install the latest version of the Qobuz app on your mobile device.

  • Ensure your compatible WiiM device is updated to the latest firmware.

  • Connect both your mobile device and WiiM device to the same network.


Step-by-Step Instructions


  1. Open the Qobuz app on your mobile device.

  2. Select your favorite music to play and then go to the Now Playing page.

  3. Tap theicon in the left-bottom corner.
  4. Select your WiiM device from the list.

  5. Music will play on the selected WiiM device.

Control Playback


From the Now Playing page in the Qobuz app, you can control playback directly, including:

  • Play/Pause

  • Skip to Next

  • Move to Previous

  • Adjust Repeat or Shuffle mode


To stop Qobuz Connect streaming, select your mobile device from the list. Music will then switch back to playing through your mobile device. 


Play Multi-Room Music via Qobuz Connect


Follow these steps to play multi-room music via Qobuz Connect:


  1. Create a WiiM multi-room group in the WiiM Home app. For detailed instructions, see How to Use WiiM Multi-Room Music to Enhance Your Listening Experience.

  2. Play music in the Qobuz app and stream music to the WiiM multi-room group. The group name will match the group lead device.

  3. Music will automatically play across all WiiM devices in the group.

Issues and Solutions


If you encounter an issue while streaming music to your compatible WiiM device via Qobuz Connect, please refer to the table below for solutions:


Issue 1: Device Not Found via Qobuz Connect


  • Cause 1: If you see the following message on the Qobuz app, tap Go to Settings, and then enable the Local Network permission for the Qobuz app.

  • Cause 2: Alternatively, this issue may be caused by special characters (e.g., .&") or localized characters in your device name. Please rename your device to remove any special or localized characters.


Issue 2: Playback Failures via Qobuz Connect


This issue may also be caused by special or localized characters. Please rename your device to remove any special or localized characters.


Issue 3: Gapless Playback Issue via Qobuz Connect
