- An optical cable
- Connect the iPhone and WiiM device to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Optionally, a Mac with macOS 15 or higher, featuring Apple Silicon or an Apple T2 Security chip(for remote control).
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Connect the iPhone with the WiiM Device
Connect the iPhone and the WiiM device to the USB-C-to-Optical adapter, and connect the adapter to a power source, as shown in the diagram below:
2. Enable Hi-Res Lossless Audio on the iPhone
- Go to Settings > Music > Audio Quality.
- Toggle on Lossless Audio, then set Hi-Res Lossless.
3. Play Music on Apple Music
Open the Apple Music app on the iPhone and play music.
4. Select the WiiM Device's Source Input in WiiM Home App
