To stream music via Bluetooth from your mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet) to your WiiM Ultra, you need to pair your mobile device with the WiiM device first. This tutorial will guide you through the steps for Bluetooth pairing.

Pair Mobile Device with WiiM Ultra


Follow these instructions for initial Bluetooth pairing and re-pairing:


  1. Initiate the Bluetooth pairing mode on your WiiM Ultra using one of the following options:
      – Option 1: Open the WiiM Home app and select Bluetooth input in Browse tap.
      – Option 2: Tap Input in your WiiM Ultra's screen and select Bluetooth input.
      – Option 3: Press the Volume Knob on your WiiM Ultra for 3 seconds.
      – Option 4: Press the Play button on the WiiM Voice Remote for 3 seconds.

    Note: Option 3 will disconnect the Wi-Fi during the Bluetooth pairing process. To keep Wi-Fi, use other options. For Bluetooth re-pairing with a mobile device, turn off Bluetooth on the old mobile device before proceeding with Option 1 or Option 2.

    Once your WiiM Ultra enters the Bluetooth pairing mode, the LED indicator on the Volume Knob panel starts flashing slowly in green.

  2. Go to Settings on your mobile device and turn on Bluetooth. You mobile device starts to search for available Bluetooth devices.

  3. When your WiiM Ultra appears in the device list, select it to complete the pairing process.

  4. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on your WiiM Ultra will change to solid green. You are ready to stream music to your WiiM Ultra.

Disconnect WiiM Ultra from Mobile Device


To disconnect the current Bluetooth connection, select one of the following options.


Disconnect from WiiM Home App


  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Go to the Browse tap and scroll down to the Source Input section.

  3. Select a different input other than Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.


Disconnect from WiiM Ultra's Screen


  1. Tap Input on the WiiM Ultra's screen.


  2. Select a different input other than Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.


Disconnect from Mobile Device


  1. Go to the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device.

  2. Tap theicon next to the connected WiiM Ultra.
  3. Tap Disconnect to close the Bluetooth connection with your WiiM Ultra. Your WiiM Ultra will appear as Not Connected on the mobile device.

Reconnect WiiM Ultra to Mobile Device


To reconnect your WiiM Ultra to your mobile device, select one of the following options.


Reconnect from WiiM Home App


  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Go to the Browse tap and scroll down to the Source Input section.

  3. Select Bluetooth input from the other inputs.


Your WiiM Ultra will reconnect to the paired mobile device. If the paired mobile device is not found, your WiiM Ultra will automatically enter the Bluetooth pairing mode.


Reconnect from WiiM Ultra's Screen


  1. Tap Input on the WiiM Ultra's screen.

  2. Select Bluetooth input from the other inputs.


Your WiiM Ultra will reconnect to the paired mobile device. If the paired mobile device is not found, your WiiM Ultra will automatically enter the Bluetooth pairing mode.


Reconnect from Mobile Device


  1. Go to the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device.

  2. Tap your WiiM Ultra to reconnect via Bluetooth.
