If you use SiriusXM, you can stream your favorite music directly to WiiM devices via Bluetooth, AirPlay, or Google Cast. This guide will walk you through each method step by step.
When streaming music via Bluetooth or AirPlay, SiriusXM delivers audio at a quality of 44.1 kHz and 16-bit.
Method 1: Stream SiriusXM via Bluetooth
- Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.
- Go to the Browse tab.
- In the Source Input section, select Bluetooth to initiate Bluetooth pairing.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and pair it with your WiiM device.
- Open the SiriusXM app on your mobile device and play your desired song or playlist.
Method 2: Stream SiriusXM via AirPlay (iOS)
Before You Begin
- Ensure that your WiiM device supports Airplay. For details, refer to List of WiiM Devices Supporting AirPlay 2.
- Ensure that your iOS device and your WiiM device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Steps
- Open the SiriusXM app on your iOS device and play your desired music or radio.
- Tap the
icon at the bottom left of the Now Playing screen and select the AirPlay & Bluetooth option from the menu.
- Select your WiiM device from the list.
Method 3: Stream SiriusXM via Google Cast (Android)
Before You Begin
- Ensure that your Android device and your WiiM device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Steps
- Open the WiiM Home app.
- Go to Browse tap.
- Select Chromecast in the Voice And Streaming section and enable it for your WiiM device.
- Open the SiriusXM app on your Android device and play your desired music or radio.
- Tap the
icon at the bottom left of the Now Playing screen and select your WiiM device from the list.
