Troubleshooting Steps
Try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Disable IPv6
- Open the WiiM Home app.
- Go to the Devices tab and tap the Device Settings icon
of your WiiM device.
- Select Network Status and then toggle off the Enable IPv6 setting.
2. Change the Preferred DNS Server Setting
If step 1 does not resolve the issue, try changing the Preferred DNS Server setting:
- Open the WiiM Home app.
- Go to the Devices tab and tap the Device Settings icon
of your WiiM device.
- Select Network Status and then change the Preferred DNS Server setting. For example, if it is currently enabled, disable it; if it is disabled, enable it.
3. Reboot Your Router and WiiM Device
If neither step 1 nor step 2 resolves the issue, try rebooting both your router and your WiiM device.
To reboot the WiiM device, unplug it from the power source and then plug it back in.
