The TIDAL HiFi subscription tier can support up to 44.1kHz/16-bit lossless music, the TIDAL HiFi + tier supports Hi-Res master content (in the TIDAL App, there is golden master tag beside the song name) in the following formats:

  1. Hi-Res, 44.1kHz or 48kHz, 24-bit lossless FLAC that is higher than 44.1k/16-bit CD quality
  2. MQA, FLAC + MQA first unfold, usually 88.2kHz or 96kHz, 24-bit lossless audio 
  3. Dolby Atmos, Dolby master (it hasn't been supported yet)

Our App and device firmware will automatically choose the Hi-Res content to play for songs with the master quality if you have the TIDAL HiFi + subscription.
