You can group your WiiM device with other AirPlay-enabled devices (e.g., HomePod), Amazon Echo, Google Home, or additional WiiM devices for multi-room music playback. If your WiiM device is not synchronized with the others, use the Auto Sync or Manual Sync feature in the WiiM Home app to correct the audio delay and ensure perfectly timed playback across all speakers.
How to Use Auto Sync
- Turn up the volume of your speaker.
- Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.
- Go to the Devices tab, then tap the Device Settings icon
of the WiiM device.
- Select Sync Audio in the Sound section.
- Tap Auto Sync.
- Wait for the process to complete. Itmay take 30 seconds.
How to Use Manual Sync
- Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.
- Go to the Devices tab, then tap the Device Settings icon
of the WiiM device.
- Select Sync Audio in the Sound section.
- Tap Manual Sync.
- Adjust your speaker's audio latency until it is in sync with the others:
- If your speaker plays behind the others, try increasing the latency.
- If your speaker plays ahead of the others, try to decreasing the latency.
Analog outputs (e.g., Aux Out or Line Out) typically have no delay. Digital outputs (e.g., Coax Out or Optical Out) usually introduce latency—sometimes over 50 ms.
