WiiM devices support DLNA media servers, allowing you to stream local music to your device using the WiiM Home app. Supported servers include Plex, Synology Media Server, Serviio, Ampache, and more.
Before You Begin
Make sure your DLNA media server (e.g., Plex, Serviio, Synology Media Server, Ampache) is properly set up.
Make sure to connect your DLNA media server and WiiM device to the same network.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Open the WiiM Home app on your mobile device.
- Go to the Browse tab.
- Select Home Music Share in the My Library section.
- Wait a few seconds for your DLNA media server to appear, then tap it to browse and play your music.
