While WiiM device and other AirPlay 2-enabled products operate on different streaming platforms and cannot be used interchangeably, they can be grouped together for a seamless audio experience using AirPlay 2. Steps to Group and Play Music:


1. Controlling Playback from an Apple Device:

   - For iPhone X or later, or iPad with iPadOS or later: Swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen.

   - For iPhone 8 or earlier, or iOS 11 or earlier: Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.


2. Accessing AirPlay:

   - Touch and hold the audio controls in the upper-right corner of the Control Center.

   - Tap the "AirPlay" icon.


3. Selecting Devices:

   - Choose both the WiiM Mini and the AirPlay 2-enabled speaker from the list of available devices.

   - Select a song or audio track to play.


Streaming Audio via AirPlay from Apps:


- Open any app that you want to stream audio from.

- Tap on the AirPlay icon within the app.

- Select the WiiM Mini and/or other desired AirPlay 2-enabled speakers.


For WiiM Mini Owners:


- Apple Device Users: Utilize AirPlay 2 to stream from services like YouTube Music.

- Android Device Users: Use Bluetooth for audio streaming. Connect your device to the WiiM Mini and play music through the digital (SPDIF) or analog (Line out) outputs.


For WiiM Pro/WiiM Pro Plus/WiiM Amp Owners:


- Use Chromecast to cast YouTube Music to your WiiM device.

- Once cast, the audio can be played through the digital (SPDIF, Coaxial) or analog (Line out) outputs.
