With Alexa casting, you can stream up to 192 kHz, 24-bit audio directly from your Amazon Music app. The prerequisite for WiiM devices to be displayed in the Alexa casting list of the Amazon Music App is to sign into Alexa.


Step 1: Sign in to Amazon Alexa in the WiiM Home App


Make sure to sign in to Amazon Alexa with the same account as the Amazon Music app.


  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Navigate to the Browse tab and tap on Amazon Alexa.
     
  3. Tap Get Started and then enter your Amazon account credentials to sign in.


Step 2: Stream to WiiM Devices in Amazon Music App


  1. Open the Amazon Music app on your mobile device.

  2. Play your favorite music.

  3. Go to Now Playing.

  4. Tap the Alexa Casting icon  at the bottom, then select your WiiM device from the list.

  • Amazon Music for PC does support PC doesn't support Alexa Casting. 
     
  • Alexa Casting is currently not supported in Poland.
     
  • Autoplay doesn’t work when casting from the Amazon Music app to any device, including WiiM. However, Alexa supports autoplay, so consider enabling autoplay through Alexa voice commands.
