YouTube Music service is now integrated into the WiiM Home app, giving you a seamless way to access and enjoy your favorite music right from your WiiM devices. Once you log in with your YouTube Music Premium account, you can explore, search, and play your playlists, albums, and tracks, all from within the WiiM Home app. 


This article introduces the main functions of the YouTube Music service in the WiiM Home app.


YouTube Music in WiiM Home app requires a YouTube Music Premium account.

Log into YouTube Music


In the WiiM Home app, go to the Browse tab, select YouTube Music in the Music Services section, and sign in with your YouTube Music Premium account.

 

During login, be sure to tick the View and manage your YouTube Music data option when prompted. Otherwise, YouTube Music content will not be visible in the app.

Explore YouTube Music


After a successful login, you can explore music through three main tabs: 

  • Music – Discover recommended songs, albums, and playlists based on your listening history and preferences, or revisit tracks you’ve played recently.

  • Podcasts – Browse trending shows or catch up on the latest episodes from your subscriptions.

  • Library – Access your saved songs, albums, playlists, and podcasts in one place. It is synchronized with the library in your native YouTube Music app.


Add Tracks to Favorites


You can save your favorite tracks to the Liked Music playlsit for quick access using any of the following methods:


  • Method 1: Simply tap three-dot (...) option next to your favorite song, then select Add to Favorites.
     
  • Method 2: Tap the icon on Now Playing to add it to the library.


Once added, it will appear in the Liked Music playlist in the Library tab.

Search


Use the built-in search to quickly find specific songs, albums, artists, or playlists within YouTube Music and your library.


Tap the search icon  in the top-right corner, enter keywords, and view instant results. You can also filter results by category using the options at the top.

Start Radio


The Start Radio feature in YouTube Music creates a personalized station based on the song, artist, album, or playlist you select. It automatically plays similar and related tracks, helping you discover new music without having to search manually.


To start radio, tap the three-dot (...) option next to your favorite song, then select Start Radio.


Alternatively, you can start radio from the three-dot (...) option on Now Playing.

Presets


Save your favorite YouTube Music playlists, albums, or stations as presets within the WiiM Home app. Once saved, you can start playback instantly with a single tap or by using the WiiM Voice Remote.


To save a preset, open a playlist, album, or station in YouTube Music, then tap the  icon. For details, see How to Use the Preset Feature on Your WiiM Device. 

Alarms


You can use your favorite YouTube Music playlists, albums, or stations as music alarms.


To set a music alarm, open a playlist, album, or station in YouTube Music, tap the three-dot (...) option, then select Alarm. For details, see How to Schedule Music Playback Using the Alarm Feature.
