With the latest update, WiiM devices now support independent EQ and Room Correction, allowing both to be used together for a more flexible and immersive listening experience. For detailes on Room Correction and EQ, see Understanding the Differences and Relationship Between EQ and Room Correction.

If you previously used Room Correction, your profile was saved under the EQ settings. After updating the WiiM Home app and firmware, you’ll be prompted to upgrade your listening experience. This process will transfer your Room Correction profile to its dedicated section. Follow this guide to complete the upgrade.

Before You Begin

• Ensure that the WiiM Home app is updated to the latest version.
  
  
• Ensure your WiiM device is updated to the latest firmware.

Step-by-Step Upgrade Guide

1. Open the WiiM Home app.
   
   
2. Go to the Devices tab and tap the Device Settings iconof your WiiM device.
   
   
3.  Select EQ or RoomFit™. You will be prompted to upgrade your listening experience.
   
   
4. Tap Start Upgrade to begin transferring your Room Correction profiles.
   
   
5. Once the profiles are transferred, proceed with one of the following options:
   
   • Option 1: Select an existing profile and complete the process.
   • Option 2: Tap Re-Run RoomFit™ to perform Room Correction again. For detailed instructions, see Optimizing Your Audio Experience: A Comprehensive Guide to Room Correction.

Later, you can go to the Room Correction settings to manage your profiles.
