WiiM devices feature a convenient alarm function that lets you schedule music playback at specific times, whether it's waking up to your favorite tunes or creating a relaxing ambiance at night. This tutorial will walk you through the steps to set up music playback using the alarm feature. 


Create an Alarm


Follow these steps to create an alarm to schdule music playback:


  1. Open the WiiM Home app.

  2. Navigate to the Alarm Clock section using any of the following options:

    Option 1: Go to the Devices tab, tap theicon of your WiiM device, then select Alarm Clock.

    Option 2: Go to the Now Playing page, tap the three-dot (...) option, then select Alarm.

  3. Tap theicon in the top-right corner to create an new alarm.

  4. Specifiy the following alarm settings:
    Time: Set the exact time you want the alarm to trigger and start playing music.
    Repeat: Select the days of the week you want the alarm to repeat.
    Music: Choose your favorite music source. This could be from your presets, home music share, your favorite music services, or even an external input (e.g., Line In).
    Volume: Adjust the volume level for the alarm's music playback.
    Duration: Set how long the music will play once the alarm is triggered.


  5. Tap Done in the top-right corner to save the alarm. The new alarm is now active and appears in the list.


You can create multiple alarms with different settings, allowing you to customize wake-up times, music sources, volumes, and durations for different days or occasions.

Disable an Alarm


If you want to disable an alarm you have set, go to Alarm Clock, then toggle off the alarm in the list.


Edit an Alarm


Follow these steps to edit an alarm:


  1. Go to Alarm Clock.

  2. Tap on the alarm you want to edit.

  3. Modify the alarm settings to suit your preferences.

  4. Tap Done in the top-right corner to save the new settings.

Delete an Alarm


Follow these steps to delete an alarm:


  1. Go to Alarm Clock.

  2. Tap on the alarm you want to delete.

  3. Tap Delete alarm at the bottom to remove it.
