The WiiM Home App offers an effortless way to manage your playback queue while listening to music, allowing you to create a personalized listening experience. This tutorial will guide you on how to manage your playback queue.
Add Tracks to the Playback Queue
Add All Tracks from a Playlist or Album to the Playback Queue
- Go to the Browse tab in the WiiM Home App.
- Open a music service under the Music Services section.
- Navigate to a playlist or album you want to play.
- Tap the ... option above the playlist or album, then select Play Last to add all these tracks to the end of the playback queue.
Add a Track from a Playlist or Album to the Playback Queue
- Go to the Browse tab in the WiiM Home App.
- Open a music service under the Music Services section.
- Navigate to a playlist or album you want to play.
- Tap the ... option next to a track, then select Play Next to add the track as the next track or Play Last to add the track to the end of the playback queue.
Open the Playback Queue
- Open the WiiM Home App.
- Play a music track from your favorite muisic service or USB media library.
- Open the Now Playing page.
- Tap theicon at the bottom-right corner of the Now Playing page to open the playback queue.
Manage Tracks in the Playback Queue
After you open the playback queue, you can perform the following operations to manage the playback queue.
Delete a Single Track from the Playback Queue
- Find the track you want to delete in the playback queue.
- Swipe left on the track and the Delete icon will appear.
- Tap the Delete icon to remove the track from the queue.
The track currently playing cannot be deleted from the playback queue.
Reorder Tracks in the Playback Queue
- Press and hold a track you want to move.
- Drag the track up or down to your desired position in the queue.
- Release to place the track in its new position. The queue updates automatically.
The track currently playing cannot be moved within the playback queue.
When shuffle mode is enabled, reordering tracks in the playback queue is not possible.
Clear the Playback Queue
- Tap theicon at the top-right corner of the playback queue.
- Select Clear All to confirm and clear the entire playback queue.
