To-Do
We are continuously enhancing the USB Media Library feature to provide a better user experience. Below is our current to-do list:
- Reorganize the Genre view to include albums, artists, and tracks for easier navigation.
- Add an alphabet jump list to help you find your content more quickly.
- Improve the playlist feature to enable creating and editing playlists, which will also be shared via the DLNA protocol.
- Resolve the incomplete scan issue caused by special characters in track metadata.
- Provide clear guidelines for addressing errors encountered during the scanning process.
Known Issues
We have received feedback from our customers and identified the following known issues, which we are actively working to address:
- Playing Queue Limit: The maximum number of tracks in the playing queue is currently limited to 500. We plan to increase this limit in a future update.
- Slow Scanning: Scanning can take longer than expected with certain USB drives, such as SanDisk USB 3.2 Gen 1.
- USB Scanning Exceptions: An unexpected error may occur when scanning USB drives.
