Step-by-Step Guide to Using USB Manual Scan with WiiM Amp/WiiM Ultra
Step 1: Power on your WiiM Amp/WiiM Ultra, connect it to the Internet, and insert your USB drive into the USB port of the device.
Step 2: Open the WiiM Home App, navigate to the ‘Browse’ tab and scroll to the bottom.
Step 3: Tap ‘USB’. When the ‘USB Disk Detected’ pop-up appears, tap the ‘Scan Now’ button to start scanning the song files on your USB drive. This may take a few minutes.
Step 4: Once the scan is complete and 'Scan finished' is displayed, tap the 'Let's Get Started' button. You will now see all the songs available.
Step 5: To access your USB Media Library, refer to Step 2, or navigate to the ‘Browse’ tab and select ‘Home Music Share’. The USB Media Server of your WiiM Amp/WiiM Ultra will be displayed. You can enter the USB Media Server to play your songs.
Step 6: If there are new songs added or deleted in your USB drive, you can click '...' , then tap the ‘Rescan Your Music Server’ button to rescan to update the song list.
