All WiiM devices, except for the WiiM Mini, support DSD audio file playback. These devices convert DSD content into PCM data for playback, with a sample rate of up to 192kHz.
Here are the ways you can play DSD audio files on WiiM devices:
1. Using USB Disks with WiiM Amp or WiiM Ultra
- Store the DSD audio files on a USB disk.
- Insert the USB disk into the WiiM Amp or WiiM Ultra.
- Open the WiiM Home app:
- Go to the Browse tab.
- Select USB to browse and play the DSD files.
2. Using a DLNA Media Server
WiiM devices fully support DLNA Media Servers. To play DSD audio files:
- Use a DLNA Media Server that supports DSD audio files.
- Stream the DSD files from the server to your WiiM device.
3. Using Squeezelite with Logitech Media Server (LMS)
- Set up the Logitech Media Server (LMS):
- Enable the UPnP/DLNA Media Interface and DSDPlayer plugins.
- Play DSD audio files via LMS:
- Use the LMS Web Interface to play DSD audio files.
- Alternatively, directly access the Logitech Media Server through the WiiM Home App to play DSD audio files.
