All WiiM devices, except for the WiiM Mini, support DSD audio file playback. These devices convert DSD content into PCM data for playback, with a sample rate of up to 192kHz.


Here are the ways you can play DSD audio files on WiiM devices:


1. Using USB Disks with WiiM Amp or WiiM Ultra

  1. Store the DSD audio files on a USB disk.
  2. Insert the USB disk into the WiiM Amp or WiiM Ultra.
  3. Open the WiiM Home app:
    • Go to the Browse tab.
    • Select USB to browse and play the DSD files.


2. Using a DLNA Media Server

WiiM devices fully support DLNA Media Servers. To play DSD audio files:

  1. Use a DLNA Media Server that supports DSD audio files.
  2. Stream the DSD files from the server to your WiiM device.


3. Using Squeezelite with Logitech Media Server (LMS)

  1. Set up the Logitech Media Server (LMS):
    • Enable the UPnP/DLNA Media Interface and DSDPlayer plugins.
  2. Play DSD audio files via LMS:
    • Use the LMS Web Interface to play DSD audio files.
    • Alternatively, directly access the Logitech Media Server through the WiiM Home App to play DSD audio files.
