The WiiM Mini supports AirPlay. When streaming Apple Music via AirPlay, the audio is re-encoded and transmitted in AAC or ALAC, depending on the music app and iOS/macOS behavior.

AirPlay does not support high-resolution audio. Audio transmitted over AirPlay is limited to 16-bit / 44.1 kHz, regardless of the source format or output interface.
